My practice draws from literature, history, and archival research surrounding the Korean diaspora, exploring the materials best suited to hold each narrative. Through personal memory and historical inquiry, I explore the physical and metaphorical capacities of materials as vessels of preservation, questioning what they carry, what they conceal, and what inevitably slips away.
